With the release of the new Necromunda, I guess it's pretty safe to say many of us are all excited about either coming up with a new band or updating an old one. I'm not fond of hard choices so I've decided to do both actually. The easiest part though was to update my scavvies since I just had a few new models to add.

New necromunda scaly - Blind Beggar Miniatures
It seems I just can't get my attention from those scavvies... well not that I'd complain really !
After posting the last mutants for the group, I was kindly given the opportunity to paint a copy of Barnacle Ben, the Scaled warrior from Bind Beggar Miniatures. I'm usually one to like being given such opportunities so after receiving it yesterday at noon. I immediately prepared, based and primed it.

Scaly and plague mutant for the scavvies
Sooo, I've spent a very quiet new year's eve. I was at home with my son enjoying a quiet night with no noticable noise from the neighbors (unusual and unexpected) and just felt like painting since I'd have many more occasions to parteh. Unfortunately these 2 guys were finished at 00:30 so they're going to count for 2017 !
I had these 2 booked for the scavvie band but didn't feel like painting 8 models right away so I first started with the more human members to then get back to the more heavily mutated members.

The Scavvy King returns from the underhive
It's been a while since I last dwelled in the depths of the underhives of Necromunda. Luckily, I've been given 3 great opportunities to get back to it.
The first one is a little challenge on the Palatine Hive Facebook page, a page dedicated to that wonderful setting that confrontation is.
The second one is the very near release of Rogue Stars, a sci-fi skirmish game by Osprey which just happens to have several common points with Confrontation and which I'm really eager to play with. Oh, the fact there's a competition for the french version of Rogue stars might have motivated me as well...
The third reason is that I've had the luck to put my hands on a rather rare model and few things motivate me as much as putting my brushes on such minis !
Let's have a look at all the guys :
