Alright, throughout the heat waves and some house works, I've been following my quest to get as much terrain and as many NPC's done to get more options in my games.
So here's a batch with several nice models I've amassed over the years.
First is a batch of Colony87 models, a range that's very dear to my heart because they wre created by a dear friend and because I was the first lucky enough to paint the range. It's now wonderfully grown in the capable hands of Crooked Dice and providing excellent options for us narrative players !
I sort of love how those could play several roles, here's the tech merchant for instance, you can tell what kind of guy he is but he could be several roles :
The Street Vendor, well you can definitely tell it's a street vendor but what's being sold is not clear and therefore perfect !
This one is a regular citizen buthe could be carrying the most inoffensive or most hazardous cargo
Son unas miniaturas geniales y con un pintado espectacular. Las minis de Crocked dice las tengo que comprar en Francia ya que en España no las venden.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get them, such brilliant little things
DeleteThese look great! Perfect figures for Stargrave, or any other sci fi games, really.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the whole line has just the right balance of generic with its own visual identity
DeleteSuperb. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks !
DeleteI can never get tired of Colony87, but you made a fantastic job on all of them. Lovely bunch!
ReplyDeleteThey really are a happy place of mine, thanks mec
DeleteThe treasure bits at the end are lovely. My coins always leave me flat.
ReplyDeleteI do think that prospector is carrying an eldritch sculpture of the eldar gods. My vision swims a bit and I black out when I look too closely. Definitely needs to be purged post haste.
Ah ! Better bury it back then !
DeleteBeautiful work on these. You can never have too many bystanders!
ReplyDeleteBill.
Damn right, when we play with the kids, they've really learnt to try and interact in fun ways
DeleteLovely work as always. I'm finding more and more I love including bystanders and civilians in games - adds some liveliness to the table!
ReplyDeleteThey really do !
DeleteThese are lovely. I really enjoy the variety in both colours and characters.
ReplyDeleteEven in scale, the prospector is a tiny fella, they're gonna liven up my tables and offer fun interactions
DeleteAce job!
ReplyDeleteThese guys look like Shadowrun RPG team! 😁
Thanks, they are at the corssroads of cyberpunk, hard sci-fi and other genres so I guess the influences show here and there
DeleteSaid it before, but the Colony87 range is just so fun and chock full of character that paints up beautifully. As always JB, your efforts on these sculpts just makes all their details pop. They'll add loads of fun narratives to your tabletops for sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks mec ! The thing is, the more you get thoseon the tables, the more you need as you want players to meet new faces !
DeleteVery nice work!
ReplyDeleteThanks !
