Creepy crawlers - More squigs for the waaagh !

Alright all ! I know Orctober is behind us but you know, the love is still here and strong and for some reason I just really felt like painting those 3 guys. I had got my hand on them after painting the first batch but they came up right at the time I needed some painting fresh air.

To be honest, they're a real happy place, I can go to town with flamboyant colours (I do keep a certain colour palette to avoid a nauseating rainbow of colours) and open my spectrum which is fun.

Small sculpts like that are also immensely rewarding and fast so very rewarding and hence perfect for a good mojo boost.

I did make one mistake working on the new three which makes them apart from the rest but that's not a big enough issue for me to fix it (until it becomes one ^^').

Take a look at this collection of Kev squigs :

Now take a look at that happy runtherd and all his flock ! The guy misses runtz I reckon but that should come in due time, I feel very excited by our hobby at the moment so I'm going to ride that wave of hobby fun !
Hope you folks hold on well and find some solace in these little made up worlds of ours !

  1. I love this sweet-shop explosion of colours with the squigs. You've managed to restrain yourself by avoiding primary colours, which gives a very harmonious effect. Lovely work!

    1. Funny how avoiding the 2 orkiest colours of all namely green and red suits them !
      Thanks !

  2. Just brilliant. The mob is definitely great looking with all its variety. United colours of squigs, you can't beat that.

  3. Truly lovely buggers. The colourful approach, far from earthy tones, worked prefectly.
