Cool and hot - Being a Bratt in the underhive

Well as expected, playing Necromunda has made me want to... play more necromunda. And it's also made me want to upgrade my bratt gang which isn't much of a gang for now if I'm being honest...
Since I managed to get my hands on the sweet limited edition guy with sword and my mate Rochie gave me one of the armless gangers in a trade (thanks mec), I took the opportunity to add a bit more serious firepower...

Brattish authority - Leader and Juve

Painting is like riding a bike it seems, it comes back pretty rapidly even after a long pause. To get a bit of motivation back I had put all chances on my side though : Goodwin models, a sculptor I enjoy and whose work I'm familiar working with, Confrontation models, one of my first loves and limited edition ones on top of that.
Well it worked out exactly like planned for once. Pleasure was here. Oh yeah , sweeet sweeeeeet pleasure, my hair caressing their... erm... Good fun, if you see what I mean.

Shadow wars campaign at Warhammer World (with extra)

Last friday, just before attending the annual Oldhammer event BOYL, I had the pleasure to meet up with old friends in the halls of the Warhammer World for a Shadow wars campaign.
A couple of us had prepared a campaign with a few special events and roles to make it even more enjoyable.
What a better way of starting 3 days of hobby orgy than a series of games with old friends !

The Bratts - Modern nobility of the upper hive

Bratts are a real funny bit of the Necromunda lore from ages ago. I won't bore you again with all the stories about them so if you fill like you could need directions about who they are, I suggest to read a sum up post I wrote that compiles most of what I know about them.

The Brattish rider

OK, this time I wanted to do something a little different so after quite a dose of fantasy, I thought I could go back to the familiar shores of 40k and confrontation.

Since I had been challenged on the Scale Creep to do a dragon, I thought this would be the time to do something refreshing. I've been meaning to use this dinosaur for 40k for a while now and until recently, I didn't really know what to use him as.

Creating a Brat Gang or "Rogue trader with style and panache"

1990 entry by John James
1992 entry by John James
After exploring the background and available informations on the Venator gangs in confrontation and after seeing some interest about the brat gangers by some other bloggers, I felt like giving some attention to some far more colourful factions. You can find some more info about confrontation and the venators in a previous post.

For the Brat gangers, I will follow a similar way as with the venators, trying to get every bit of info I can from the original confrontation rules published in White Dwarf and trying to see if links can be made with previous and later concepts.
