Scatter Terrain from Fogou !

Here's the second half of the Fogou scenery I did earlier. This time it's all the scatter terrain and bits you can use to decorate the tabletop with.
Like for the rest of the Fogou pieces, it's remarkably well cast, requires little to no preparation and the details are probably finer than on some of the models you'll use it with.

The bits are varied and offer all kinds of elements like barrels full of rubble. I've painted those in a very generic way so they could fit any table and wouldn't be too eye catching, I considered adding symbols but I wanted to weather them quite a bit so opted for something simpler in the end.

There's a fuel dump as well, made from the same barrels above but full of fuel this time. It's  a nice objective in a post apoc game.

Then we have junk piles which could very well represent obejctives as well like points to loot items from for example. I've added more colours to those and highlighted he metals so that they do pop more than the other pieces for this reason.

Although those will probably be more at ease in a fantasy setting, I thought it would be nice to have pots in the future as well so I opted for more modern designs and grey clay instead of the more usual soft orange.

Those 2 bits look like air conditioning devices which could be stuck to any building but which could also just be placed on teh ground as if there was an underground facility underneath...

And then you have the traditional ammo crates !

Quick post tonight, I'll be away, travelling, gaming and meeting good friends but I'll have great photos to share and I'll soon use all this great scenery like it's intended to be used : IN GAMES !
Take care for now !

    1. They really do, I've purchased some more stuff before they went on holidays. I'm usually quite reluctant to resin because of the care and preparation required but this is just ready to paint and excellent. The textures help you a lot, it's not the same thing as mdf of course but although mdf is good to make mass quickly, these are what gives a tabletop character.

    1. It's really good stuff honestly, it would fit your tables perfectly. Do yourself a favour. ;)

  3. Congratulations on finishing all these! I like your choice of red for the barrles, you've weathered them down really nicely. My only criticism is that you count each individual component as "a miniature" in your annual painting tally. Nurrrr.

    1. To be honest, I have massive buildings coming that will still count as one. ^^
      Thanks !

    1. Yep, it's fun to see how Curis from Ninjabread, Axiom and I opted for different ways to paint these. They're a real treat for the brushes.

The piles of junk are particularly appealing.
