I can never quite produce a black that I am truly happy with, as the shade either looks to flat and dull, or just too damn grey! Superb stuff. Your freehand on the shield of that thug also caught me eye, as I am a sucker for chequers, and your combination of that pattern, with an eldaresque icon, looks very effective. The retro look and way you can assemble models together is just too good. Since I won't be painting much armies now I think most of my fantasy models are going to be based on those.Asslessmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09475252828835332056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2221418482531324115.post-25267139525705602172015-12-29T02:13:33.468+01:002015-12-29T02:13:33.468+01:00Cheers mate, simple but fun !Cheers mate, simple but fun !Asslessmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09475252828835332056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2221418482531324115.post-12548547416692587132015-12-29T01:27:37.604+01:002015-12-29T01:27:37.604+01:00Great models and great paint jobs.

I always thought that hexes were the most attractive shape of base, and I'm sorry that more games didn't use them. I painted up a whack of Talisman miniatures, and I always felt bad that I didn't have the courage to bases them all on hexagons (I chose not too because I wanted to be able to use some of the miniatures for other games, like Advanced Heroquest or Descent). Anyway, Happy New Year!matthewjksullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08126108200355039621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2221418482531324115.post-82702915292401494092015-12-29T00:35:57.924+01:002015-12-29T00:35:57.924+01:00Very cool JB, they look brilliant!Very cool JB, they look brilliant!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2221418482531324115.post-73311483950219278402015-12-28T21:42:14.404+01:002015-12-28T21:42:14.404+01:00Yours is clearly better scaled, I have anothe rdog...Yours is clearly better scaled, I have anothe rdog coming in a more realistic scale and the size difference is quite shocking...<br />Thanks a lot !Asslessmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09475252828835332056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2221418482531324115.post-10116186472814653782015-12-28T21:39:13.856+01:002015-12-28T21:39:13.856+01:00Funny, I just posted up a doberman.
