The rusty aspect is quite simple rea...Well thanks !<br />The rusty aspect is quite simple really, it's inspired from how dry pigments work with white spirit but with paint and water only.<br />Take a leathery brown and thin it with water beyon what you'd do to get an even coverage, you want to see the pigments seperating on your palette, then apply it in the recesses and around rivets and where rust and dirt would end (don't load your brush too much, you want control and to apply real thin coats here).
